Psalm 106:20 “Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.”
Psalm 16:4 expresses that sorrow will multiply for those seeking after gods. When you allow yourself to lust after the things of this world such that they become your gods it is to your detriment and the loss of glory.
God is the reward of those who seek Him truly (Gen 15:1) what happens when you let Him go for lesser things?! You definitely settle for exceeding lesser reward. Insist on the best, shalom.
Talk to God: I have no glory but in you God, help me to be conscious of this in my daily life in Jesus name, amen.
