Romans 6:12 “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.”
Grace is the God given power to overcome sin, not according to the strength of man, but according to His. Many often lose the battle with unrighteousness because they try to do it on their own, this is never God’s intention.
Living in dominion over sin is therefore a function of grace, but in agreement with your will to resist the devil. As today’s text instructs, it is first your responsibility to stop sin from having dominion over your body by staying away from all unrighteousness, flee from it.
Talk to God: Father, help me to flee all unrighteousness in Jesus name, amen.
