2 Timothy 2:4 “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
God has chosen us into His army to go out and bring souls to salvation, in fulfilling this tasks, there are weights we must detach from ourselves to ensure we please our Maker.
As a soul winner, there are affairs of life that could distract you from your mission, today’s text admonishes these should be avoided. What could stand in the way of your duty to the Father?
Talk to God: Father, help me to detach from every weight that could draw me back from winning souls.
