Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”
A believer is surrounded by a great number of witnesses: other believers and unbelievers alike, they watch our deeds and some, make themselves judges of what we should or not do. This is a reason to carefully consider our way of life.
Beloved, you need to live as a representative of Christ on earth, some things are not sins but weights, they may stand in your way of witnessing Christ. Shed the weight.
Talk to God: Father, help me to shed any weight that could pull me down from winning souls in Jesus name, amen.
