Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”
The Spirit of God gives us the enablement to function in different dimensions. As today’s opening text highlights, deliverance and liberation are some important exploits we are enabled to do through God’s power.
Take note, that the text begins to list these points preceding with a crucial point. Preaching the gospel is a deliverance mission, to liberate from sin and its power. There is deliverance in preaching the word.
Talk to God: Father, help me to perform my duty of soul winning in Jesus name, amen.
