Topic: Adoption by Redemption
Isaiah 43:1 “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
The fact that we are God’s image gave us the first authority to over take and be fruitful. This text opens our eyes to see the power of redemption which made us His.
You became God’s child through creation and redemption. But you need to stay in Him so as to maintain your sonship. The life in redemption gave us power over fear and changed our name. The redemption power must change something in you. Do you desire Him more? Would you allow power of redemption?
Talk to God: Father, please make me yours forever in Jesus name.

Topic: Adoption and a new Name 2
Isaiah 62:4 “…and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.”
When man adopts, the surname of the adopted child changes, this does not necessarily change his life or situation, neither can it affect his nativity. Contrarily, when the Almighty adopts, He changes everything about the adopted.
Something happened and changed you when you gave your life to Christ, the adoption set you apart and gave you a new name, a new life, a new inheritance. This is why you can no longer live in slavery, you are an heir of the Most High God.
Talk to God: Father, help me to walk according to the liberty of adoption in Jesus name.

Topic: Adoption and a new Name
Isaiah 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah…”
When a child gets adopted, his family name changes, this is the same as what occurs when one is brought into God’s family, he abandons the guilt and blemishes of Adam’s name, and a new order goes in operation.
Hephzi-bah means, ‘my delight is in her’. God delights in you as a father delights in his son, He no longer sees a sinner surnamed Adam, their is a new being, made after the order of Christ Jesus. Refuse to be called what God does not call you.
Talk to God: Father, please help me walk in the newness of the name you gave me in Jesus name, amen.

Topic: Adoption births His glory.
Romans 11:6 “And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”
The natural gene in man is sinful by worldliness but the grace of salvation adopted us as sons. We as children of God received salvation at the price of grace by which God calls us His.
You became a child of God because of a sacrifice that brought glory. His grace through the blood on the cross of Calvary adopted you from your sinful nature into His glory. Your knowledge is not the reason you are a child of God but His grace. Will you allow God take away your pride and be glorified in you?
Talk to God. Father make me an emblem of your glory forever in Jesus name.

Theme: The Adoption
Topic: Adoption and Purpose
Ephesians 3:11 “According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:”
There is a purpose to every of God’s process. Even so is the great plan of Adoption is purposeful. A purpose set up in and through Christ Jesus which is eternal, as we see in this opening text.
Heir of God, your adoption bought you, cleansed you, and set you to live purposefully to God but it does not end there, there is an eternal purpose to be with Him. Get it straight, if you do not live in His purpose in earth, the expectation of an eternal purpose may be easily defeated.
Talk to God: Father, help me to remain in the purpose of adoption in Jesus name, amen.
