John 12:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
Today, we begin to examine a very important part of God’s making, brokenness. Looking at the text above, we can infer that there are stages a seed goes through before yielding the desired result; one being dying and breaking apart in the soil.
A similar process is, when God wants to use a vessel, He starts with it as a raw material. No matter how beautiful a seed is, it must still die and be broken; God still needs to break you and make you if He wants to use you. Be useable.
Talk to God: Father, help me never to be reluctant to undergo your making process in Jesus’ name, amen.
