Matthew 5:7 ESV “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”
Showing mercy also involves treating people with kindness and forgiveness or giving comfort.
God is interested in the comfort of His people Isaiah 40:1 says “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people…” and so when we do this, we fulfil His mindset, God also rewards those who do His will. The merciful will receive mercy, are you merciful?
Talk to God: Father, help me to fulfill your mind in showing your love to others in Jesus name, amen.
