Acts 22:16 ESV
“And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’”
The Apostles went about preaching repentance and baptising people in the name of Jesus, this was in accordance with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19.
It is no myth that baptism has a role to play after salvation but it is more important to engage with its significance, have you died to sin and resurrected to righteousness?
Talk to God: Father, help me to remain dead to sin and alive to your righteousness in Jesus name, amen.
