Topic: Approaching God as a Father
Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
A great challenge many people have in calling to God is the inability to understand true His nature. Many see Him as a father who loves to chastise, or who cannot reason with our weaknesses. This are fallacies that affect our relationship with Him.
Today’s opening text talks about God’s throne as one that should be approached with boldness. When you do, it becomes easy for you to realise that God is a listening father, this in fact, helps your prayer life: the fact that you know you are communicating with One who truly desires to listen. Come boldly.
Talk to God: Father, help me to boldly present my prayers and supplications before you in Jesus’ name, amen.
