Genesis 3:11 “And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?”
With the knowledge of good and evil, man also received a burden of self-dependence. Whereas God had provided all he needed in Eden, the thirst for even more came when he sinned.
One sin has a potential of leading to much others. If you find yourself in any transgression, call out to God before the devil capitalises on it and makes you want more, do not allow the vacuum sin creates.
Talk to God: Father, help me not to give the devil a chance in my life in Jesus name, amen.
