Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
While the heart is at the center of a man’s deeds, God has this to say about it, it is deceitful, wicked and difficult to understand. The heart of a man is complex, it finds it easy to switch at any time, that is why a man could be wayward at daybreak and turn to God before nightfall.
In the same vein, the heart could be swayed to leave the path of righteousness very easily, and so every child of God has to watch it. Let God be in constant charge of your heart, make it His dwelling place.
Talk to God: Father, take full control of my heart in Jesus name, amen.
